Fifteen years of passion and dedication to exceptional care. To celebrate this special milestone, Maastricht UMC+ organized the Happy Hearts Festival on Friday, June 30; a smashing party at the MECC for all employees. An expression of appreciation to provide connection and strengthen the bond between colleagues. As the Happy partner of the MECC, Vermaat Events was the obvious party to give this evening a warm welcome.

Happy talents
What could be more fun than sharing your talent with 4,350 colleagues? During the MUMC+ anniversary celebration, several colleagues showed their (hidden) talents in singing, dancing, music, comedy and more. And how about the playful opening by part of the board with their own version of YMCA (MUMC)? Hilarity assured

Happy celebration
The party was made complete with surprise entertainment. For example, guests were completely decked out in glitter by the glam team upon entry, Bingo was played with Bennie Solo in a specially constructed brown pub and there was a life-size Doctor Bibber. Of course, a photobooth for unforgettable memories was not to be missed.

Happy food
Scattered throughout the venue, guests could enjoy all kinds of street food, all in the Happy Hearts theme. Think pink buns and donuts shaped like hearts. And perhaps most importantly, everything was prepared with love and served with a smile.

Happy hearts
The festival was one big tribute to all the contributors. Luminous hearts could be seen everywhere, literally and figuratively. Hearts filled with joy and energy. Hearts that overflowed with love for caring and for each other. A heartwarming evening that will be talked about for a long time!

Unique to this event

Colleagues sparkled on stage with song, dance, music and comedy, while the board stole the show with a hilarious YMCA parody (MUMC).

From glitter makeovers and Bingo with Bennie Solo to a life-size Doctor Bibber and a vibrant photobooth – this party was full of unique experiences.

From pink sandwiches to heart-shaped donuts, everything was lovingly prepared in the theme of Happy Hearts and served out with a smile.
